One to one Tuition

Harrison Offers bespoke guitar tuition in Acoustic guitar, Classical, Electric, Bass, Slide Guitar, and Ukulele. Music Theory and Composition lessons are also available.

Harrison is Head of acoustic guitar for the International School of Musicians (ISOM) having written the acoustic guitar syllabus in 2024, and an RGT@LCM examiner and has examined all over Europe. Having compiled and edited the acoustic guitar syllabus for RGT@LCM, as well as contributing pieces to this syllabus and being involved in other RGT@LCM syllabus gives Harrison a unique insight in guitar teaching. Harrison holds diplomas in guitar teaching from LCM and has written for various guitar publications including Guitar Techniques Magazine.

Harrison is an experienced and qualified guitar teacher providing lessons in a wide range of styles including, rock, blues, jazz and acoustic music. As a teacher of more than fifteen years Harrison is a full time musician which not only brings a large amount of experience to teaching but also makes him available for daytime and Saturday lessons as well as evenings.

Lessons tailored towards RGT@LCM teaching diplomas are available face to face as well as through Skype to any developing guitar teachers that would like advice on working towards recognised guitar teaching qualification. Harrison has experience in teaching all forms of guitar to a wide variety of students and has taught or run workshops for guitar teachers as well as students wishing to work towards performance Diplomas.

Guitar Lessons in Somerset - Prices

Guitar Lessons are either half an hour (£18), 45 minutes (£25) or one hour (£34) for one to one tuition. 

Lessons are taught in a dedicated teaching room at his home in Buckland St. Mary in the Blackdown hills to students in Somerset and Devon including Yeovil, Taunton, Chard, Ilminster, Wellington and Honiton. Skype lessons are also available worldwide.
